Time for myself

Where has the time gone? Seriously, it feels like yesterday when we celebrated New Year's and now the year 2012 is halfway gone! May has gone so fast! I didn't realize until yesterday that I haven't posted anything in this month and it's already 14th! So May is halfway gone too. This is freaking me out! Days and months just fly by. I just can't keep up.

May seems to be a very quiet month, nothing happens really. I don't mind though, I have wanted and needed some time on my own. I haven't done anything worth mentioning. I have just slept in, read a good book, watched great films, done some sports, tried to figure out my future and so on. Why do I have a bad conscience about this? I have enjoyed it. Just kept giving time for myself. People don't often have a chance to do that! Still, I feel like I should have been doing something useful. Well I haven't got any shifts from work and I won't get any until June. I'm not studying for entrance exams anymore, I have another plans for me. So why not to just enjoy the free time and do things I love?

Everyone deserves to have some time for themselves. Some people are so used to the rush and hassle that work and every day life brings so that people don't know anymore how to stop for a moment and just be. Just be without doing anything important. They can't just sit down and read a good book for hours, for example! They can't stand still. I think that's something we should be really worried about. If all that matters is work and responsibilities and you forget yourself, what you enjoy and love, you will lose yourself and burn out! Remember to find some time for yourself. No matter, one month (this is luxury), one day or even one hour will do you good! So this is my theme of the month: time for myself! I hope you'll join me. Summer will be busy with work so now it's time to fill up with energy!

There's couple of things I want to share about films! I went to see Titanic 3D to cinema. There's no other film I love more than Titanic. I've seen it like 20 times but it never loses its' touch! I cry every time! So I had to go and see it in cinema, never had a chance to do that before. But, 3D? WHY? I understand that many films are made 3D in 2010s and in many cases it works, but can they please, leave the older movie classics as they were! People will go watch them in cinema no matter that bloody 3D. Anyway, I did enjoy watching it on big screen, even though my nose hurt afterwards, because of the bloody glasses (not so comfortable to wear for 3hours).

Another thing, I love Tim Burton's films, so of course I had to go to see the latest Dark Shadows. Definitely worth watching! The film tells a story about Barnabas Collins who is cursed to be a vampire by an evil witch and returnes home after two centuries to get his family name back to its' former glory. Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins is as marvellous as always! I could say that team Burton and Depp never seem to fail! Here's the trailer where you can see parts of some hillarious scenes!

Ok I think this is it for now! It's fabulous outside, I have to go jogging! Afterwards gonna go and relax in sauna and the rest of the evening I'll be busy with watching Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City! This is what I call time for myself! Ah, life is good.

Until next time

PS: What do you think of the new look of my blog? I thought the previous was rather dark. Summer is coming and all! Need to have some lighter colours!
